PDF Conversion not working in DEVONthink Pro Office after Upgrade to DT3

Hi,
I recently upgraded to DT3 (Standard Edition) which I know does not have the ability to convert PDF’s to PDF+Text.

I wanted to use my DEVONthink Pro Office Version to convert 91 PDF’s by copying them across to DTPO and applying convert. However it says that it couldn’t start the OCR process even though I have checked that that PDF services are enabled and ABBYY Fine reader is installed.

Does this mean that when I installed the DT3 that the original Abbyy OCR capabilities were somehow ‘overwritten’? Am I missing something else?

Which version of macOS do you use? The OCR engine of DEVONthink Pro Office 2.x is not compatible to Catalina.

Thanks for the reply. Indeed, I have 10.15.1. I presume I’d have to look at upgrading DT3 … or use an alternative method.

I suppose I should have spotted it before my trial ended :man_shrugging::slightly_smiling_face:
