PDF import in DN

P. 85 of the DEVONnote manual says: "You can, later, manually convert imported PDFs to plain text or RTF (with TextLightning installed) by selecting “Content > Convert to Plain Text/Convert to Rich Text”. The plain text or RTF version of the PDF appears as a new document at the top level of the database. "

p. 84 says "Alternatively, you can use the built-in PDF-to-Text function to store PDF documents as simple text documents. Choose your options in the preference panel. "

I’ve been unable to get pdf importing to work in DN. Can’t find this function under the Content menu, nor in the preference panel. I’m probably overlooking something really obvious, but… Can anyone assist?

DEVONnote is unable to work with PDFs at all. This is one of the differences between DEVONnote and DEVONthink.

Good point. Changed. This was a remainder from a restructuring of the appendix.
