PDF navigate back

How/can one navigate backwards when viewing a PDF? For instance, a lot of manuals (like the DTG Handbook) will link to another section with more detail about a topic and I want to be able to jump there, read, and navigate back to my primary reading position. Currently, I get anxious about doing this as I can’t figure out how to get back.

Is this a missing feature or am I missing the interaction?

You find a link in the lower lefthand corner of the screen. At least I do

Oh! You have to have the page scrolly thing visible to get that arrow! I guess this is a juggle between showing/hiding UI. I would prefer a full full screen and a full UI screen.
