PDF: show contents / find linke in Previes?

Hi there,

is it possible in DT Pro to show the “chapters” and perform searches inside PDFs the way Apple’s Preview does? I really miss these functions and keep using Preview instead of DT Pros internal PDF viewer due to this.

And it would be great if I could open the PDF in Preview by just double clicking them in DT (instead of choosing “Open with” etc. from the context menu). Is there any way to do this?

No, PDFKit doesn’t yet allow this.

No, but you can also open the PDF in Preview (if you’ve told the Finder Info panel to open PDFs under Preview) by clicking Launch Path. As I’ve got my windows configured so that the Info panel is always open alongside the document window, it’s a simple click to do that.

V2 will hopefully include such a drawer.
