Per Database Server Configuration

I just discovered that if you enable the server on a particular port and you then switch databases, that the server is still on.

I think that this might best fit as a user option per database with the choice of making the options globally effective. That is to say, there are situations where I want all databases on a system to be searchable across the lan. However, on my home machine I have a personal database that I would never want to expose. When I switch to and from it I should not have to remember to toggle the server on or off.

Cheers.

Good point. For the time being, use caution when opening databases that have content you would prefer others not see.

I use a number of topical databases. There certainly are some that I don’t want to “broadcast”.

I shall certainly exercise caution. Thanks.
