# Plug-in for forums and website

Hello,

I want to make a plugin for searching in forums and websites.  
Can anyone help me with this?

forums and websites are:  
Bitcointalk  
Reddit  
Github  
and other websites

Followed the steps to create a new plug-in  
I’ll just typed In the URL of the forum turn off all the other plug-ins and 0 result came out.  
is this because the forum is password protected?

Is this okey? or do I need to modify the code?? I’ll selected website instead of search engine  
Also try it with a board.

Same problems I have with Reddit, Github, and other websites.  
0 results… ☹

The EngineSite option supports only websites and subdirectories indexed by Google/Bing, therefore the first plugin works (just checked this) but the second doesn’t. In addition, you might want to increase the CrawlDelay as the [bitcointalk.org](http://bitcointalk.org) server returns HTTP 503 (“Service unanvailable”) errors quite often.
