I Just thought of something that may be related to the missing sync group stuff. When I did my test drive of DEVONThink I tested DEVONThink Pro Office, but the version I ended up purchasing was DEVONThink Pro.
Could there be some issue with stuff hanging on after the original download that is causing the problems now?
