It’d be really nice to be able to use Preview.app’s “Select Tool” directly in DT, rather than having to open the PDF externally into Preview to do that.
Often times I like to snip out paragraphs and images from PDFs in DT, and store them into separate RTF files, also within DT. I can grab paragraphs just fine from DT, but images require me to open the PDF externally (I use the “Open in external editor…” button for this), select the image there, copy it, and paste it into my RTF.
Maybe there’s a way to already do this? I notice that if I hold Control while selecting, I’ll get a box, but it only selects the text within the box.
