Printing from Lotus Notes into DTP stopped working for me.

Hi Guys!

I could have done something to brake it, but don’t know what would that be

When I’m trying to print to DTP from Lotus Notes using “Save PDF to DevonThink Pro” in print dialog, I’m getting the attached error.

I was trying to reinstall PDF Services script, but it didn’t help.

Any pointers are greatly appreciated.

This is unfortunately an issue of Lotus Notes. One workaround is to save the PDF to the global inbox (~/Library/Application Support/DEVONthink Pro 2/Inbox), another one is to add an alias of DEVONthink Pro (Office) to ~/Library/PDF Services and to print to this alias instead.

Yes, Global Inbox is what I end up using for the moment.

I think this one is not going to work, if you already have DTP up and running as it’ll complain about databases being opened and in use already by that copy of DTP.

You are right, Bill, it works as prescribed. Silly me created a symlink instead of an alias My UNIX head didn’t think that it’s two different things
