Problem with adding tags to Favorites (section in sidebar)

I use the Add To Favorites feature
The Favorites section provides a quick and easy way to generate a filtered list of my notes

The problem is when I delete a note from the list (Move To Trash)

  1. The note is not moved to trash
  2. The tag is deleted from the note

I’m guessing the generated list is a list of replicants in the Tag group
instead of my notes, and I’m deleting the replicant

My solution is to use Smart Groups instead of Favorites

Did you do this inside the Tags group? Then you’re indeed just removing the tag from the note.

I was working in the Favorites section in the Sidebar
The link was to the Tag - so Yes, I ended up “inside the Tags group”

Favorites are basically just shortcuts, only the location in the database matters.
