Maybe I make a mistake.
I have a G4 with 10.2.3 and PB with 10.3.5.
I use G4 and PB with Filesharing and FireWire.
I test DEVONthink and deja vu for some days.
I would buy both if it works good …BUT…
I would make 4 backups every week
User G4 on 2. internal HD in G4
User G4 on external FW HD on G4
User PB on 2. internal HD on G4
User PB on external FW HD on G4, here are problems:
…/Users/klotz/Library/Application Support/DEVONthink/.DS_Store -> /Volumes/FireWire HD3/Regelmässiges Backup/klotz/Library/Application Support/DEVONthink/.DS_Store : [ afpAccessDenied (-5000): Insufficient access privileges for operation ]…and so on.
I have the same messages like files in Application Support/DEVONthink .
All messages have a relation to DEVONthink. ???
I understand that someone is wrong with permissions
The fourth backup with problems is created 7 days before.
I have use DEVONthink the last 7 days.
I have look in the path:
FireWire HD3/Regelmässiges Backup/klotz/Library/Application Support/DEVONthink
The permissions are correct if I see the file from G4.
User is user of G4
The permissions are not correct if I see the file from PB
User is system
I can make the backup to 2. internal HD on G4 without problems.
Can someone give me a tip in which way I must look to a solution
Should I post the complet message of deja vu?
