I know how to password protect a database but would like to be able to protect a Group rather than the whole database—is this possible? The documents I have inside this particular Group are mildly sensitive so I think password protection would be sufficient although I would consider encryption of individual documents if that s also possible.
Not possible with a group. However with Acrobat or various archive utilities you could create a password-protected PDF or archive, respectively. These can be stored in DEVONthink but Search, Classify, etc., will not be able to do much since the content will be hidden.
