Protocol Fail Message - Dropbox/Sync

Hello,

I’m using devontink since years and have 3 database set up.
FYI: The databases are located on my mac internal HD.
Now I’m going to start to use Devontink to Go on my mobile device, using my dropbox account.
When I set up the SYNC (via dropbox), there will be a folder generated on my dropbox folder.
-> access to dropbox should be ok.
Workflow: Databases are existing on my internal HD. Setting up the Dropbox sync via Devonthink - Settings - SYNC - DROPBOX.
A upload to Dropbox starts.

But when I start Devonthink or I hide Sync, I geht a popup window “PROTOCOLL”.
There is written in: DATABASE SHOULD NOT BE IN CLOUD-FOLDERS and DATABASE IN CLOUD FOLDER CAN NOT BE SYNC
:open_mouth:
(sorry, the attached file is in german)

Any ideas what’s wrong?

Brgds Peter

You’re probably using Sierra and the iCloud Drive option to synchronize the Desktop and Documents folders is enabled. Just move the databases to a different folder, e.g. create a “Databases” folder in your home directory.
