In Devonthink，applying a “child” tag to a document also applies all its “parent” tags is cool.
But more often than not, I just want to collect multiple tags together according to a certain theme. I don’t really want to use a child tag with its parent tag displayed as well. Is there a way to achieve this?

Just exclude the parent from tagging via the Info inspector.
