Quick move to dialog selection color

Hello. I have found that, in the “Quick move to Group” popup, if I select a group with the mouse, it uses the system highlight color (green in my case)

But if I use the text box to type a filter, the highlight color becomes a lighter shade of gray that I find extremely difficult to read (aging eyes):

In this case, I have typed “AEAT” (that’s the IRS for you americans! ) and the highlight shade is TOO subdued. Is there anyway of changing this?

The colors are based on the system settings and the current keyboard focus (in the first case the list has the focus, in the second case the search field). The only way to customize this is via System Preferences > General and System Preferences > Accessibility.

Thanks! Yes, I have the “Reduce transparency” checked in System Preferences > Accessibility > Display. Turning it off makes the background more blurred, with better contrast.
