Are .dtp2 files meant to support quicklook ?
While i mostly use DTP to search a database, once in a while i may be in spotlight when an email appears thats stored in DTP db.
It would be good if quick look then rendered the contents.
Or should this just work ??

… but Quick Look on .dtp2 Spotlight metadata files that reference .eml documents in DTP databases doesn’t display the content.
I vaguely remember discussion of that limitation though didn’t spot any relevant posts/topics in results of briefly searching for them. Or maybe I’m thinking of some other document type.

Shame, most of my adhoc queries would be for email.
Perhaps it will be implemented at somepoint.
