Read-Only Database - cannot do much with it

Hey,
I had my database inside of a BoxCryptor Folder on a Mac. Now with El Capitan OS I had to drop Boxcryptor (not supported any more) and I copied the database somewhere else. Since then I can only have read-only access to the database (pencil with a line through it) and I cannot get my notes and files out of that read-only database.

Looking for any help, please.

Run a Tools > Rebuild Database… in it and it should fix this.

Thank you for the quick reply. “Tools > Rebuild Database” is grey. I cannot run it.
