Reading list confusion

Hi Folks:

A week ago I noted that my reading list had 1000’s of items. I’m not sure how they came to be there so I cleared them out. I reduced the list to some 30 items. Now my list is north of 2500 items. A vast number of these show no content when selected and do not resolve to a location when I select ‘reveal’. Any pointers will be appreciated.

DEVONthink doesn’t add anything to the Reading List without user intervention so I would see if you have a smart rule that is adding to it.

Thanks. I’ve not found such a rule - I’ve cleaned things up for now.
