Rebuild creates invalid mail results?

Hi All,

I opened my big e-mail database this morning and was informed that I would have to rebuild it because of inconsistencies. Dutifully, I did so because, of course, with what I have going on I didn’t wish to have any problems.

Unfortunately, after the re-build, the creation date of all the imported e-mails was set to today. This, of course, is a big problem when dealing with e-mails.

How may I fix this without having to go through the huge task of reimporting all the e-mails?

The creation date or modified date should not change on a Rebuild, just the Date Added. How were these imported?

Using File|Import|Mail… and selecting the Unix mbox file containing the mails.
