I have a simple smart group that shows me all the documents that have been changed in the last 60 days. This works as expected … with one exception … if the title/name of a document is changed, this document does not appear in the search results.
This can probably be added. But I don’t know how. Can anyone help? Thank you.
Smart rules have an “on renaming” trigger, and there’s a “set modification date” action. Combining these, might help at least in the case of a changed name.
The title though is probably a metadata field. I doubt that changes there will cause a trigger to fire.
I see, thank you. Then I guess I’ll have to get used to inserting a space in the main text so that such docs appear in the list.
Could Last Opened in the last 60 days as an additional condition (Any not All) be a solution? Because to (manually) rename an item you have to select it first, and then DEVONthink counts it as opened.
Of course that would add other items you actually just had opened to the Smart Group.

Yes, that works. DT counts an item as opened when it is selected? 
I would never have thought of something like that… I’ll have to play around with it, maybe I can find a way to narrow down the too many results. 
As long as the view/edit pane is open or you open the document in a new window, yes.
