Hi,
after migrating my documents to iCloud Drive renaming of files has become weird. Using script “rename to creation date” renames the file in DevonThink view but not the indexed file in the iCloud drive.
Strange. Anybody knows more?

I’ve found this to be somewhat unreliable as well. What works for me is to right-click and move the documents into the database, rename them, then right-click and move them back out to the external (iCloud Drive) folder. Also, to avoid naming conflicts I make sure that the documents are not currently loaded into the memory of another Mac/iOS app.
