Why is it when I’ve renamed a database in the Finder that it comes up as the old name in the sidebar? How can I change it? Thanks.
I created a temporary database and found I can change its name using the File>Database properties, however this does not change the actual file name. If I also change the file name in Finder (having first closed the database in DTPO), then I can’t open it in DT since it apparently lost the link to the file.
Unfortunately, now I can’t delete the database from the left panel in DT - delete is grayed out from the File menu or right-click. I even did a search on “delete database” at the Devon web site, but the search failed to find anything. It’s only when I actually delete the file in Finder that the database name disappears from the Open/Recent database listings in the left panel.
