Replicating from a search result

This might be possible and I just don’t know how, but it also might be a feature request

I would like to search, the add some of the results to a new group while leaving them in their old group. For example find some documents that are about corpus approaches to social movement discourse and put them into a groups together but not take them out of their existing groups which will be about their individual claims (e.g. anti-abortion, refugee rights).

I think the correct way to do this is to create a replicate, and put the replicate in the new group, but I can’t see how to do this from a search result list and the menu item is greyed out.

Is there an obvious solution? Or shall I put this up as a feature request?

You will have to create that new group.

Now, select one or more documents from your search results list. Control-click (right click) on the selection and choose the contextual menu option, “Replicate To…”. Navigate to the target group and choose it.

Awesome, thanks!!
