I replicate a lot of files in DTP and I was just wondering whether there’s a replication drag similar to the alias drag (drag cmd+opt).

The same – i.e., replication = CMD+OPT drag
Haha, thanks. I just nominated myself to the dumbest question of 2010 then - not bad for an early start… 
by the way, if you ever use the auto-classify feature or worse, the “move”-button in the “see also”-pane with the file you just replicated, all of the previous replicants of this file will be gone.
As much as I prefer DT to every other freeform database, it would be great to have this feature fixed…
