I’m using the “Copy Item Link” for an item, then pasting it into a Markdown file. In the Source view the Item Link is “clickable” back to the items’s link. But when viewed in Side by Side Preview, or in the “Open” view using DEVONthink’s markdown edit, the links are not clickable. See screen shot below.
Is there a switch to toggle somewhere to make these active links?
On the screenshot the link isn’t rendered by MultiMarkdown at all, most likely due to a syntax issue. Does it work after renaming the link to e.g. “Test.pdf”?
See screen shot. I renamed it, and I removed the pilcrow paragraph mark. The original link is created by DEVONthink using the “Copy Item Link” command.
Links inserted by DEVONthink (e.g. via Edit > Insert > Item Link…, Cmd-Alt drag & drop or the Insert Link To contextual menu) should be always valid. Another possibility is to copy an item link (see Edit > Copy Item Link) and to paste it into a Markdown document.
