RSS crash

I’ve dropped all of my RSS feeds into DT, and was opening them to read them. The first question is, 1) why does it ask for a name and password? Is this a blogger thing? 2) When it asked for a password and I hit cancel, DT crashed. It crashed every time I replicate the process. I tried a reinstall, but it won’t let me because “Devon background server is in use”.

Any help would be appreciated.

Off the top of my head, I don’t know why DT is asking you to authenticate when viewing RSS feeds. As far as re-installing, you can find – and quit – the DEVONbackgroundServer in Mac OS X’s Activity Monitor. That will probably allow you to re-install.
