Rule won't replicate

Hello everyone,
I am trying to replicate files from an indexed folder to my inbox. I have a created a rule. The same rule, when set to “move” will move the files to the inbox, but it will not replicate them. I can manually replicate these files to the inbox, but not by the rule.
Any suggestions?

I would be happy to use the “move” functionality, but after moving it, the file is reindexed(?) and shows up in the original folder again as well as in the inbox.

It appears you’re targeting the Global Inbox in the Replicate action. However, there is no information on the group targeted by the smart rule. If it’s not in the Global Inbox, it will not work. You can’t replicate across databases.

Thank you very much! That worked.

Now I am having problems with iCloud. Using rules like this I am moving files from indexed folders on my hard drive, OneDrive, and iCloud to my DEVONthink inbox. It works with the other two but iCloud is very buggy. New folders in iCloud will replicate to the inbox, but not new files. Any suggestions?

We don’t have any control over the cloud services and their behaviors. Are the files downloaded to your local machine?
