Excuse the snark but is the Safari extension supposed to work?
Does it need activating in some preference somewhere?
Safari 16.5.2 - the DVT extension literally does nothing to being clicked on

The Safari extension works fine. Try rebooting the computer and then activating the extension again. Of course would be also useful to know the used DEVONthink & macOS versions.
