Recently upgraded from ProOffice to 3.0 Is it safe to delete the ProPoffice program and related support files?
I upgraded to 3.0 and manually deleted Pro Office 2.x from the Applications directory. Since I have Hazel installed, it automatically removed all the related files on the computer.
This is not always a good idea, in fact sometimes it is a very bad idea. Hazel can zap files you need – like your own templates, etc. I’ve learned the hard way that letting Hazel or other robots make decisions about my data is not good.

I’ve never ever had a problem with Hazel. In any case, my reply to the OP was just that I was able to remove DT 2 and use DT 3 with no issues.
