"Save to DEVONthink" from Safari does not save the URL

When I print a webpage from Safari to DEVONthink using “Save PDF to DEVONthink” the URL of the webpage is not recorded in the document’s field “URL” anymore. It worked all the time before but stopped when I had to upgrade to Sonoma.

DEVONthink version: 3.9.6
MacOS: Sonoma 14.3.1

Most likely caused by temporary scripting issues on Sonoma, restarting DEVONthink & Safari or logging out & in again should fix this.

logging out and in again did it. Thanks a lot!

Problem has reappeared: saving a webpage from Safari to DEVONthink via “Save PDF to DEVONthink" does not enter the URL in the document’s URL data field. Logging in and out does not fix it.

Also: when I activate reader mode in Safari and use “Save PDF to DEVONthink” the name of the document is set to “unnamed document”. Sending to DEVONthink from normal Safari view mode it sets the correct document name. Example:

DEVONthink version: 3.9.6
MacOS: Sonoma 14.3.1

This should actually fix it, usually restarting DEVONthink might already be sufficient. And a reboot?

Reboot fixed both problems, thanks! But still wondering why the problem comes up repeatedly…

A good question but actually more for Apple. It’s AppleScript that fails every then and now on Sonoma throwing weird errors. And this affects a lot of things (e.g. email drag & drop).
