Saving a scanned document without success

I´ve scanned a document. DT says “speichere PDF dokument” in the lower left corner. This status doesn´t change, the doc is not being saved. Cancelling / relaunch the program. Doc ist lost. Happend several times now since i’ve updated from 2.0 to 3.0.

How did you scan the document and was OCR applied? Which version of macOS do you use?

Do ScanSnapHome, DEVONthink and DTOCTHelper have appropriate file access? That would typically be:

  • DEVONthink: Full Disk Access
  • DTOCRHelper: Documents Folder
  • ScanSnapHome: Documents Folder

If ScanSnapHome (SSH) is set to save anywhere other than in the documents folder, then obviously the permissions for SSH and DTOCRHelper would have to reflect that.

Permissions are set in System Preferences/Security & Privacy/Privacy/Files and Folder or /Full Disk Access

Since DT3 I was prompted to enter some meta data. Haven´t figuered out, how to deactivate this. Anyways, it happend to be, that this window was sitting behind some other windows. This might have been the “problem”. I´m going to double check this.
