ScanSnap S500m still OK?

HI all - Did a quick trip through the forum and didn’t see an answer to my question. I have a chance to get a used S500m at a great price. Would rather do that and not pay top dollar for a newer model.

I’m using DTPO and OSX 10.5.8 I’m wondering if might be any backward compatability issues or issues in general I might have with the S500.

I’m still using a ScanSnap 500M and love it. Works great with DEVONthink Pro Office.

If necessary, you can download the current version of the ScanSnap Manager application from Fujitsu’s Web site.

I use both a ScanSnap 500M and 300M on my two Macs. The integration with DTPO 2.0 is awesome.
