Would anyone know if there is a scripting command that would allow me to set the document property “Subject”? I know that you can add custom metadata by add custom meta data, but fail to find something similar for "standard"document properties…

PS. I would love to see a native smart rule action to set title, subject etc. of standard PDF document properties (as they can be seen in the inspector). @BLUEFROG Would you require a support ticket for to consider this?
Document properties can be only changed via the Info > Properties inspector for certain file types (RTF, RTFD, PDF & images) currently.

Some background: Apple provides write access to the PDF attributes like author etc only through Swift, not through Objective C. So, currently you can’t even overcome the lack of direct support for that in DT by writing a simple script. A convoluted workaround might be a Swift program that you call from a script…
