# Script to Download PDF from dynamic URL every month

Hello everyone,

There are a few journal articles that I am interested in obtaining on a monthly basis. They are available as PDF’s and there is a simple naming structure that changes every month (IE - file\_0918.pdf on September and file\_1018.pdf on October etc…).

Is there a way to automate the download process on the 1st of every month as a script?

I think it would be easier and less error prone to just set a monthly repeating reminder in Apple calendar. Here’s a simple example:

Not yet but a future release will support this (e.g. I already download the Astronomy Picture of the day that way).
