Definitely not. But I don’t like to add tiny requests to the already endless list of requests
@pete31 @cgrunenberg @BLUEFROG You guys are the best! Thanks a ton.
hey @dansroka I know this is an old thread but this is exactly what I needed! Thanks so much. I put these two in the script toolbar folder, adding icons to the files so they show up nice on the toolbar. Such a tidy easy workflow now
Ive added a couple of screenshots in case other newbs like me come along wanting this kind of thing and dont quite know how to do it. Point me at other script tips if you feel the need. x
ps when I get time I’ll find better icons or at least make these a nice gray to fit in with everything else. These icons were from iconduck, OS.

Hey, a blast from the past. Glad it helped!
Thanks @dansroka just found this. Was thinking how to make it easier to switch between workspaces and started thinking along the lines of Keyboard Maestro.
Your solution is neat and tidy and well integretated in DEVONthink. Awesome.
Not “succinct” then
That means not just brief, but clear too.
Clear means a good ratio of what is revealed divided by the processing effort imposed.
I don’t think yours can claim to be clear while it’s so wide that most of it is invisible in the post
You can improve quality immediately – reducing the processing effort imposed – by simply dividing it into more than one line.
No credit for artificial “one liners”
(@dansroka’s version also provides fuller coverage:
- The case where the user cancels the dialog
- The case where the list of workspaces is empty)
