Search and Sidebar

A search in the main window produces the same results regardless of which folder is highlighted in the Sidebar (=source list; leftmost panel).

Is this the desired behavior?

I know I can open a Search Window (Tools --> Search) and control what a search operation looks for, but it is a bit of a chore if the only control I want to exert is to tell it where to look.

Is this a bug or a feature ?

The sidebar doesn’t have an impact on the toolbar search. At least as long as you don’t double-click on a database to activate it.
