Hi,

I’ve just upgraded from DTP to DTPO, and imported a bunch of emails in my database. This was my primary motivation for the upgrade, my inbox is a mess, you see.

My problem is that I don’t know how to search the emails. I expected that some keywords such as To:, From:, etc would be bolted into the search engine. It doesn’t seem to be the case.

Can you please suggest some tactics how to search, e.g. “find all the messages that were sent by xyz to me” or “find all messages that I cc-ed to xyz”? Thanks.

No, prefixing operators are not used in search at this time. If you do a search for xyz in the metadata you would find all hits.

Alternately, you can create a Smart Group or use the Advanced options in the Full Search (see Tools > Search) to specify a To: or From: criterion.
