Quick question:
Is there a way to search on an explicit character (like %)
example: 15%

using quotes around it doesn’t seem to work “15%”

don’t see a way to temporarily de-assign a special character from Search filters

DEVONthink search only looks at alphanumeric characters in query terms (except as Wildcard characters).

Your search query including the % non-alphanumeric character in a phrase search won’t work.

If you have opened a document you can use Apple’s Find routine (Edit > Find > Find, or the keyboard shortcut Command-F) and it can search for non-alphanumeric characters in strings.
