Why?
Is this considered a feature? If so, can it be made user configurable so that merely changing views doesn’t lose what is being viewed?

Hello,
I noticed the same thing nearly at the same time. It makes the search feature a bit uncomfortable. In deed, in some cases, changing the view once the search results are listed makes the analysis more effective.
Would be a plus.
