Searching folders in Sorter

As we already know, there is no search function in sorter when we are selecting location to save.

Since very first days of DEVONthink 3 beta, I thought that this feature was so essential that I don’t need to ask for development, because developers must already are working on it :slight_smile:

But 3 years passed and this feature is not provided. So, either I am profoundly wrong about this, or there is silent crowd here like me that waits this feature to be implemented.

I am curious about your opinion because I love DEVONthink so much and I try to provide developers hard proof about whether it is worth developing or not.

This is actually still planned (like many many other things).

Thinking things are obvious and therefore widely agreed upon is a very common (mis)assumption by many people in many facets of life :slight_smile:

Interesting, I never thought of that: partly because I keep things to a small number of locations. Enough evidently that I can deal with easily without a search function.
