I have about 5,000 tags and I have them in a TaskPaper file so I can filter across tags to locate groups of tags that contain common words.
If I wanted to find all of my documents with tags containing “health” there would be many, many specifications that I would need to add:

Are you saying you want to find items Tagged with “health” as a substring, like health, health kit, and healthcare?
It’s not going to show you “groups” of Tags, but in this instance you would use Tag is health*.
I should not have used the word “groups” in the subject—it imaybe confusing.
I wasn’t referring to DEVONthink Pro Groups but groups in general, collections or list of documents.
I want a convenient way to slice and dice my 60,000 document databases using tags without filling out the search criteria form manually for each unique tag.
Maybe Wildcards in the Tag field of a Smart Group will get me what I want.

I thought you had presented a tag hierarchy, not duplication of data, in your Tags (andI prefer the non-hierachical approach). This actually makes it easier in your case.
