Is there any way to locate documents that have a specific label, or restrict searches to such documents? I have merrily labelled documents that I want to have a closer look at with “todo”, but now I wonder how to find them back.
No, currently not. But you can sort a list of documents after label, if this helps.

The possibility to restrict searches to labels (or the state of the checkbox) will be added to a 1.9.x release (x>1 as 1.9.1 will be released today

As Christian said: This feature will be added to A 1.9.x release. He never promised it would already be implemented in 1.9.2.
