I’m trying to use DTP3 on one computer with two boot drives. Even though the machine’s name and UUID are the same regardless of which drive is used, DTP3 runs in trial mode after booting from one of the drives. It’s exactly the same hardware and user ID. Why is another seat necessary? Pursuant to a similar May 2020 post, I have one Devon user account and am not using an Ethernet connection.
Just copy ~/Library/Application Support/DEVONthink 3/Registration.plist to the second boot volume.
