see also in trash

Hi,

It seems that “see also” always shows related documents in the trash. This despite the fact that I have checked the “exclude from classification” and “exclude from see also” options for the trash group of this database (in the global trash).

Am I doing something wrong? Or is this what it is supposed to do? And why does it not honor the “exclude from…” settings?

The “Exclude from See Also” option isn’t inherited, it’s applied to each item on its own (independent of the settings of the parent groups like the trash).

However, items in the trash will be automatically excluded from see also in a future release (after 2.0final).

Thanks for the reply. That is a good point, I completely forgot (even though I had to write a script to switch classify and see also on and off recursively due to this behaviour). That explains it!
