I want to monitor a folder for that once a document is placed in the folder it is to integrate DEVONthink Pro. This is possible?

You should be able to accomplish this to a large extent using Automator. Check DTP help menu to get a general idea of what you can do with Automator. Or just access Automator from your apps folder and experiment.

Or use the Folder Action scripts that come with DEVONthink Pro in the Extras folder on the disk image
