I am going to be annotating a fairly large number of documents, and I wonder if there is a way to set default margins for the annotations editor, which I take it is just DT’s built-in text editor.
The only workaround right now is to select ~/Library/Application Support/DEVONthink Pro 2/Templates.noindex/_Annotation___Cmd-Shift-Alt-A.templatescriptd in the Finder, choose “Show Package Contents” in the contextual menu and navigate to Contents > Resources > en.lproj.
Finally open Annotation.rtf in TextEdit, change the margins of the ruler and save it again.
Thanks, Christian. A work-around, but straightforward.
There’s something going on with margins in this template that makes it difficult to control them. E.g., when I set the left margin at half an inch, what I get when I print is more like an inch and a half.
What I’ve got now, though, is more satisfactory than what I had before.
