Setting up devo office for local network-problems

is there any documentation on how to set up devo office for a local network? I am running a mac and the other user in the office is using a PC. Neither of us are able to access the DB in our browsers.

We get messages like this;

Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at xxxxxxxxxx

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few

moments.

If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network

connection.

If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure

that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Open DTPO’s Help > DT Pro Help and search for “Bonjour”. Do the same for Safari. You can have a Bonjour button in Safari’s Bookmarks toolbar for convenient access to a ‘broadcast’ DTPO database (even on the same computer that hosts the database).

The PC will need to download free software from Apple that enables Bonjour on the PC. Go to Apple’s Support site and search for Bonjour – you should be able to locate the download for the PC user.

I can access the DB from a web browser on my mac which is the server but I can’t get in through the PC. Any ideas?

If your PC doesn’t support Bonjour/ZeroConf, then try to enter a URL like 192.0.0.168:8080.
