Does anyone know how the filesystem (I use APFS as well as HFS+ on older machines) treats deleting / adding tags between various machines?

Suppose you delete a tag on machine 1, but forget to delete it on machine 2, what will happen?
Will machine 2 reinstate the deleted tag or will it reinstate the tag to machine 1?

Are these indexed files?

No, they are in a local syncstore (webdavnav running on a mac mini).

The files aren’t in a sync store. That’s raw sync data.

If you delete a tag on a file in DEVONthink on Mac A and sync, the tag should be removed in the database on Mac B when it syncs.
