When I select a set of items in the list view, the inspector shows me if they are all “excluded from …” and I can adapt that in a batch manner.
It does not seem to be the same with tags: the generic inspector does not show me the tags they all share, making it hard to remove a shared tag from all select items.
Wish I could have be able to perform such tasks in this inspector.
