More and more I have been using DT3 as my main writing and reading software. One thing I tried to accomplish via apple scripting (but eventually gave up, seeing that it would be more difficult that what my current knowledge allows me) is organizing/sorting files using the keyboard. That is, moving a record/group out of/into a group and moving records up and down inside a group.
E.g.:
Scenario 1 - Out of group
- Group x
- Record/group } Selection
Press shortcut: ⌥⌘[
Turns into:
- Group x
- Record/group } Selection
Scenario 2 - Into a group
- Group x
- Record/group } Selection
Press shortcut: ⌥⌘]
Turns into:
- Group x
- Record/group } Selection
Scenario 3 - Up and down inside a group
- Record x
- Record y } Selection
- Record z
Press shortcut: ⌘↑ or ⌃⌥⌘↑
Turns into:
- Record y } Selection
- Record x
- Record z
Perhaps this is already possible somehow? In case not, I humbly introduce it as a feature request
